Hello and welcome,
I am Marzena Uphill, a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I can offer face to face therapy sessions in my garden lodge, a tranquil location, situated near a nature reserve in Andover (SP10).
Along side this I also offer online and telephone sessions.
I am aware that beginning therapy could be a daunting process and you may have apprehension to choose someone who you will be able to trust and share your thoughts, feelings and life challenges. My training required me to have personal therapy, so I know what it is like to be a client myself.
How I work.
I am passionate about what I do and feel strongly that although therapy can be emotionally challenging at times, it can also be inspiring and a life changing experience. I want to reassure you that whatever is troubling you, counselling therapy can help you to understand yourself better by developing self-awareness, self - understanding and confidence along with coping strategies.
The Lodge
The lodge provides a tranquil, calming space.
Nestled in a quiet, picturesque Hampshire town, The Lodge is a place you can feel safe to explore whatever it is you wish with support and guidance. Taking the first step in counselling can be a daunting process, many clients find the warmth and comfort of The Lodge can take away those initial feelings of apprehension. I look forward to welcoming you.
Qualifications...
* Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling & Psychotherapy, Level 4 CPCAB accredited.
(I am currently studying for Level 5 Psychotherapeutic Counselling)
* Grief and Bereavement Counselling Diploma (Distinction)
*Level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills
*Master's Degree in Teaching History (Pedagogical University of Krakow)
